Re: Erotyka zachętą do ochrony zwierząt?
'This morning, PETA sent a letter to Shawnee County Commission Chair Vic Miller offering to rent space on county ambulances for an ad that features a nurse whose image would help revive anyone who is feeling under the weather. The ad reads, "Lighten Your Load--Go Vegan! Vegans Are 10 to 20 Pounds Slimmer Than Meat-Eaters." PETA's offer to pay to run the ad comes in the wake of reports that local ambulance companies are raising their fees for transporting obese patients. (One man who was transported by ambulance weighed more than 1,000 pounds.) In the letter, PETA points out that vegans are invariably far fitter and trimmer than people who consume meat and dairy products and that the only weight-loss plan that has been scientifically proved to take weight off and keep it off for more than a year is a pure vegetarian diet.
"Our proposal is a win-win situation: Residents will see the message that a vegan diet can make them thinner and healthier, and Shawnee County will see some money coming in," says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. "The best thing that anyone can do to help animals, help save the planet, and keep the ambulance at bay is to go vegan."'
